If you can still sign in
Deleting from inside the app is immediate. Open NavigateHER,
go to Profile, and choose Delete my account.
Your health information is erased straight away and your access ends at once —
you do not need to wait for us.
If you can't sign in
If you have uninstalled the app, lost your password, or never finished
signing up, ask us here. Give the email address or phone number on the
account so we can find it.
Because this page does not require a login, we cannot tell who is asking —
so a member of our team confirms the account is yours before anything is
deleted. This protects you from someone else deleting your records.
What gets deleted
Everything the NavigateHER app holds about you is erased:
- Your profile — name, contact details, address, date of birth, pregnancy and due dates
- Blood-pressure and glucose readings, and any connected-device data
- Screening answers and scores, including depression and anxiety screening
- Answers about food, housing, transport and other needs
- Baby tracker entries — feeds, sleep, diapers, growth, milestones, immunizations
- Photos you uploaded, including your profile photo and insurance card images
- Messages you sent to your care team through the app
- Any supporter you invited loses access to your information immediately
Your account is closed and you can no longer sign in.
What we have to keep
Navigate Maternity is a healthcare organization, and some records cannot be
deleted on request — the law, or an agreement we work under, requires us to keep
them:
- Medical and equipment records — if we supplied you with a breast pump, blood-pressure kit or other equipment, or a clinician documented your care, those records are kept for the period required by law in your state.
- Insurance and billing records — claims submitted to your health plan, and the records supporting them.
- Consent records — proof of what you agreed to and when, which is itself a legal protection for you.
- Records held under an agreement with a health plan or other payer — where your care was delivered or paid for under a contract with a health plan, employer or health system, that contract requires us to keep a record of the services provided, for audit and for measuring how the program performed. We keep those for as long as the agreement requires.
- De-identified information — information with your identity stripped out, which cannot be traced back to you. We keep it to study maternal health outcomes and to report on how our programs perform. It stays after deletion because there is no longer anything in it that points to you, and it can never be used to identify or contact you.
Records that identify you are kept for the required period and then destroyed.
They are not used to contact you and are not used for advertising, and we do not
sell information that identifies you.
